Launching the ball

Try to hit one of the lit Torch targets, if you miss and the ball does not hit anything that scores points let it drain and try again. You could also try to catch the ball with the right flipper and hit the Torch targets from here. If your machine makes the skill shot increasingly difficult you might want to shoot the upper ramp instead and loop it some times to open the Locker.

Multiball

During 2-ball Multiball the best tactic is to lock one of the two balls and start collecting as many "Sink ship" letters as possible with the other one. Once the lock timers runs out the locked ball will be released, but you can lock one of the 2 balls again. Once a 3-ball multiball has started there is no way to lock any of the balls.

Do not fire the second ball right at the start of multiball, this will cause the locked ball to be released immediately. Wait until the multiball tune starts, 3 to 4 seconds. In this case the locked ball will not be released as long as you're shooting the middle ramp with a maximum of three shots.

The broadside is worth increasingly more points during multiball, this starts at 500.000 and goes up with 250.000 points after each shot. The current value is retained during the game.

Start "Hidden treasure" during multiball by shooting all diamonds. Increase hidden treasure value by shooting about everything. hidden treasure will be rewarded at the end of the ball.

If multiball mode finishes, wait for the machine to enter single ball mode before shooting the Pirates cove or the Middle ramp. The Pirates cove won't award anything, the middle ramp could be opened if the ball is on it at that time it will be launched vigorously upward to hit the glass.

Lighting LOCK letters

This should be your main goal at the start of a play. The lock letters are located in the lanes and the lit letters will rotate the lanes when pressing a flipper button or when the ball hit playfield elements like the Bumpers or the Slingshots. You can feed the innerlane by shooting the Whirlpool to collect LOCK letters (and build up for Extra ball at the same time). You also get a lock letter for shooting the Pirate's cove if lock isn't lit there.

If lock is already lit completing LOCK letters will advance the bonus multiplier.
